I just love to brag on our talented Village Artisan members.
Lowell Converse just won Best of Category-Woodturning at the 2009 Dayton Artistry in Wood.

This is Lowell's winning piece.

The piece is made of Amboyna burl and ebony. It is 6" diameter and 15" tall. Amboyna burl is an "exotic" wood which comes from southeast Asia.

We're getting ready for the kick-off to Holiday in the Village. The festivities start this Friday with the 3rd Friday Fling.

Village Artisans will be open late until 9pm. We'll also have festive refreshments. Stop by and see how the Artisans make the holidays sparkle.

Artisans Out and About

Lowell, John and Rob, (AKA Village Artisans 3 wood guys) will all be exhibiting at the 28th Annual Artistry in Wood Show this weekend.

If you can't make it to the Airport Expo center to see them, you can always find their work in our shop in Yellow Springs.
