JANUARY LOBBY SHOW: The Winter Blues

"The Winter Blues" show is all set up in our shop lobby featuring artwork that fits the theme "The Winter Blues." The show runs through February 14 with an Open House on Sat., Jan. 21 from 11 am-6 pm with cookies and hot drinks all day, and an opportunity to make and take a blue beaded memory wire bracelet.

On Sat., Jan. 21 during the opening reception for "The Winter Blues" lobby show, stop at our creation table to make a blue wrap bracelet. Theresa Mayer and Barbara Vandecreek will be there from noon-3 pm to help you create your own unique blue wire wrap bracelet. The cost is $15 and includes all you need: memory wire, commercial beads, and one lampwork bead designed by a Village Artisan. Join us for some creative fun and go home with a beautiful masterpiece you made yourself.

ARTISANS OUT AND ABOUT: Pam Geisel at the Yellow Springs Brewery

The Yellow Springs Brewery will host a selection of Pam Geisel's recent art quilts from January 9 through February 5, 2017. There will be an Artist Reception Sun., Jan. 15 from 2-4 pm. The Yellow Springs Brewery is located at 305 N. Walnut St., Suite B, in Yellow Springs.

"The Gift of Art" reception, Sat. Dec. 10, 5-8 pm

Join us this Saturday, Dec. 10 from 5-8 pm for an artist reception for "The Gift of Art." The show runs through the end of December in the Village Artisans' Lobby Gallery.

The show runs through the end of December with a reception on Saturday, December 10 from 5-8 pm with snacks, beverages, wine, and a craft table for gift tag making.

OCTOBER LOBBY SHOW: Island Colors - art quilts by Pam Geisel

During the month of October, Village Artisans Gallery in Yellow Springs will present “Island Colors,” art quilts by member Pam Geisel in the Village Artisans’ Lobby Gallery. 

For show “Island Colors” she exclusively used fabric created by Island Batik, a California company that manufactures, imports, and distributes cotton batik fabrics from Indonesia. Pam is an Ambassador for the company. “The colors in the fabric are just gorgeous and they have an intensity to them that seems to glow.”

The show runs October 1 – November 6, 2016, with an Artist reception on Friday, October 14, 6 – 9 pm.
