Our "Animals Reign" show, featuring art from the community, has been hung in our lobby and runs through June 26 with an artist reception on Friday, June 15 from 6-9 pm with snacks, beverages, and wine.

Our show "Paintings by Leah Grommon & Christine Klinger" is all set up in our shop lobby and runs through May 14. We're having a reception on Friday, Apr. 20 from 6-9 pm.

Our show "Have You Red/Read It?" is all set up in our shop lobby and runs through Apr. 1. We're having a reception on Friday, Mar. 16 from 6-9 pm.

JAN & FEB LOBBY SHOW: Abstraction

Our show "Abstraction" has been hung in our shop lobby and runs through Feb. 13.

Meet Mark David Holbrook

Mark was born in rural southern Ohio in a small sliver of the state falls in Appalachia. Even though he moved to the Dayton area as a child he always maintained contact with his roots and culture.

Mark is a 1983 Graduate of Vandalia Butler and has spent the bulk of his working career as a retail banker. There have been detours with education and certification as a Hypnotherapist & Reflexologist.

Mark started sculpting in his style as a stress relief and response to the rigid confines of the banking environment. With a downsizing, he simply decided to “Go for it.”

He has nurtured a side of himself that was suppressed for a long while. The love of color and abstract ideas can be found in both his sculpture and pottery.

 
Mark currently resides in Troy Ohio with his husband of 25+ years, Richard.
